Imee Marcos is the Governor of Ilocos Norte since 2010, and was Congresswoman from 1998 to 2007. During her term as Governor, local tourism to the region increased significantly.
She is the daughter of former President Ferdinand Marcos and Imelda Marcos. She is running for Senator under the Nacionalista Party.
